Investment reinforces Central Iowa’s growing reputation as a hub for technology, business, and innovation

Des Moines, IA – October 27, 2025 – US Signal, a leading provider of data-center services, cloud solutions, and network connectivity, today invites media and community stakeholders to a Groundbreaking Ceremony celebrating the expansion of its Des Moines Data Center. This project builds on the company’s previously announced nationwide infrastructure investment program and highlights its strategic commitment to Central Iowa. In June 2025, US Signal announced a major $200 million capital-expenditure program to expand its national footprint, highlighting power-dense additions at its Detroit and Des Moines data centers, among other upgrades. Specifically, the Des Moines facility is set to receive 6 megawatts (MW) of new commercial power capacityto support high-density, next-generation AI, cloud and edge workloads.

The ceremony will take place on November 13th at 1:30 – 3:30 pm Central Time at the US Signal Data Center, 390 NE Alice’s Road, Waukee, IA. Media are invited to attend, capture visuals of the groundbreaking, and hear directly from company executives and community leaders about the project’s local and regional impact.
