US Signal Expands into the Portland Metro Area
US Signal has acquired a 63,000-square-foot data center in Hillsboro, our first owned facility in the Portland metro area. The existing site includes approximately 14,000 square feet of data hall space and 4.5 megawatts of power, with opportunities to expand.
Additional facility details and customer availability will be shared as plans are finalized.
Why Hillsboro
Hillsboro combines a dense network ecosystem with access to renewable power, making it an established choice for West Coast infrastructure. Demand reflects those advantages: according to CBRE, the market ended 2025 with just 0.2% data center vacancy. Oregon’s lack of a general sales tax adds another financial consideration for businesses investing in IT equipment.
