US Signal Joins MEF to Facilitate Digital Transformation

US Signal today announced it has joined MEF, a global federation of network, cloud, and technology providers working to advance enterprise digital transformation. The company also attained MEF 3.0 Carrier Ethernet Certification, demonstrating its commitment to best-of-breed industry standards for network services and technology.

US Signal has been a leader in Carrier Ethernet network services throughout the Midwest for over 20 years. Its 14,000-mile wholly-owned fiber network serves as a key market differentiator, and powers a comprehensive portfolio of connectivity solutions in addition to cloud, colocation and data protection services.

“We are eager to work with the MEF community to address the industry’s business challenges, as well as to continue evolving our product capabilities to support the digital transformation requirements of our customers,” said Melissa Cook, carrier sales director, at US Signal.

“MEF 3.0 Carrier Ethernet Certification is considered the gold standard in the industry. It will provide our enterprise and carrier customers with even greater confidence that the Ethernet services we provide have been stringently tested and are compliant. It also validates our use of industry-leading practices to deliver the dynamic, performance-enhanced, orchestrated, and high-speed connectivity that can help them generate better business outcomes from digital transformation initiatives.”

“We welcome US Signal as the newest addition to our growing, vibrant community of MEF members who are working to progress our MEF 3.0 Global Services Framework,” said Nan Chen, president, MEF. “A membership in MEF offers an opportunity to engage in business-driven collaboration with leading global organizations. Together, we enable dynamic, trusted, and certified services that empower enterprises to embrace their own digital transformation and grow their businesses.”
